all formats but "best" are converted from the source format, there will be some quality loss. when "best" format is selected, the audio is kept in its original format whenever possible.

only h264 and vp9 codecs are available in this mode. original audio codec is aac, it's re-encoded for compatibility, audio quality may be slightly worse than the non-HLS counterpart.

this option is experimental, it may go away or change in the future.
los archivos se descargarán más rápido y serán menos propensos a errores o cortes bruscos. sósolo los códecs h264 y vp9 están disponibles en este modo. el códec original de audio es aac, ese recodificado por compatibilidad y la calidad de audio puede ser ligeramente peor que su contraparte sin HLS.

esta opción es experimental, y puede desaparecer o cambiar en el futuro.

h264: best compatibility, average quality. max quality is 1080p.
av1: best quality and efficiency. supports 8k & HDR.
vp9: same quality as av1, but file is ~2x bigger. supports 4k & HDR.

av1 and vp9 aren't widely supported, you might have to use additional software to play/edit them. cobalt picks next best codec if preferred one isn't available.
h264: mejor compatibilidad, calidad promedio. calidad máxima de 1080p.
av1: mejor calidad y eficiencia. soporta 8k y HDR.
vp9: misma calidad que av1, pero el archivo es ~2x más grande. soporta 4k y HDR.

av1 y vp9 no son tan compatibles como h264. si av1 o vp9 no están disponibles, se usa h264 en su lugarampliamente compatibles, puede que tengas que usar software adicional para reproducirlos o editarlos. cobalt elige el siguiente mejor códec si el preferido no está disponible.
